This club or association (as it was known then) was established in 2006
and is open to all with an interest in beer.
The members of the Northern Beaches Brew Club or NBBC are homebrewers
and beer aficionados. The goal of the club is to brew the best beer
possible. We do that through sharing experiences and sharing knowledge among
each other.
We are not a "competition club" but we do encourage
competition to get feedback about the quality of the beer we brew. If you
are new to brewing, or if you have been brewing for years but have never joined

for more information about joining the club. The NBBC now regularly meets in the Sydney's
Northern Beaches region. Our meetings are
relatively informal. There will be some sampling of beers that we have
brewed and talk about processes. Occasionally we will have a fun,
friendly competition among each other or do a theme brew where everyone brews a
certain style of beer for comparison or exchange. All in all the entire
club is a way to meet new people who enjoy brewing and drinking craft beer.
You don't have to brew to join our club, but you should have an
appreciation for craft beer and a desire to learn about beer ingredients, how
they affect flavour and the brewing process in general.
